This is a fun spin on the viral Dubai chocolate bar. This recipe combines decadent chocolate and juicy strawberries with layers of crunchy kataifi and creamy pistachio cream. These elegant treats are perfect for a special occasion or a simple indulenc.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups kataifi pastry (shredded phyllo dough) – toasted to make it crunchy
  • 1 tbls unsalted butter – to toast the kataifi
  • 1/2 cup pistachio crème – makes the most irresistible creamy pistachio filling
  • 1 tbls tahini -adds a touch of nuttiness and brings out the pistachio flavors
  • 1 lbs fresh strawberries
  • 1 Tony/s milk chocolate bar (6.34 oz)
  • Clear plastic cups (4 small cups, depending on serving size)

Method
 

Prepare the Kataifi Filling:
  1. Heat the unsalted butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the shredded kataifi pastry and toast until golden and crunchy. Set aside to cool.
  2. Combine the pistachio crème and tahini in a mixing bowl until smooth and well-blended. Fold in the cooled kataifi pastry for a crunchy, creamy filling.
  3. Chop up one container of strawberries into bite-sized pieces
  4. roughly chop up one bar (6.34 oz) of Tony’s milk chocolate or any chocolate of your choice, then melt in the microwave in a glass dish in 30-second intervals while stirring until the chocolate is melted. 
Assemble the Cups:
  1. Take the clear plastic cups and add a thin layer of melted chocolate
  2. Then, add a layer of the fresh strawberry slices. (about 2-3 strawberries, add as little or as much as you like)
  3. Add a layer of the kataifi filling on top of the strawberries. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the kataifi layer.

  4. Repeat the layers of strawberries, kataifi filling, and chocolate drizzle until the cups are filled. Top off the cups with fresh strawberries.
Garnish:
  1. Drizzle melted chocolate or Nutella on top of the final layer.Sprinkle with crushed pistachios and, if desired, a small piece of edible gold leaf for that Dubai-inspired elegance
Serve:
  1. Chill the cups for another 10 minutes to set the layers.Serve cold and enjoy luxurious flavors, nutty pistachio, and aromatic tahini. These cups make the perfect Valentine’s day dessert or a delightful treat for any holiday.
