I got this crab salad recipe from my mother who has been making this recipe for over 10 years! I love the simplicity of this salad. Sometimes simple is best. And this is what this easy cauliflower salad is. Simple and delicious! Its a great side dish for any occasion.
Ingredients:

- 1 head of 1 cauliflower
- 1 pound imitation crab
- 8 oz of canned mushrooms (drained)
- 8 oz of black olives ( you can use pre sliced)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
My favorite type of salad is one that is quick to make, easy to serve and tastes delicious. This salad happens to be one of those. Just chop, mix and serve. I love that this salad can be made ahead of time, days ahead even! It doesn’t get soggy.
Crab salad recipe
Wash and clean the cauliflower. cut it in half then remove the stems. Cut the cauliflower into small bite sizes then add the cauliflower to a large mixing bowl.

Next, chop the imitation crab into the same size as the cauliflower. Add it to the bowl with the cauliflower.
Lastly drain and slice the black olives into 4 slices ( you can purchase them pre sliced) next, drain the mushrooms then add them to the bowl.
Finally add 1 cup of mayonnaise to the bowl along with 1/2 tea spoon ground black pepper, mix very well until everything is coated in the mayonnaise.

And it is ready to serve!

this is one of those salads that can keep in the fridge for a few days! just place in a airtight container and place in the fridge.
